Queen Victoria Building

If I had to recommend a shop from Queen Victoria Building, I'd definetly say Campers' store.

It's located on the lower ground level and offers a wide range of stylish and comfortable shoes for men, women, and children.

There you can find a lot of products like:

  • Men's shoes: Casual sneakers, boots, sandals, and dress shoes.
  • Women's shoes: Flats, heels, boots, sandals, and sneakers.
  • Children's shoes: Casual shoes and boots for kids.

  • One of the reasons to visit Campers is the brand's high-quality materials. They use premium materials to ensure durability, comfort, and longevity.

Finally, you'll have a great time there. The QVB itself offers an amazing shopping experience with its beautiful architecture, diverse range of stores, and charming atmosphere.

    SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

My next destination is the Sydney Opera House, for transportation, you can use a lot of ways. In this page, you can organize your trip to this destination. Link

    • Buses: There are multiple bus routes that stop near the Opera House. You can check the Transport NSW website for specific routes and timetables.
    • Trains: The closest train station to the Opera House is Circular Quay. From there, you can walk to the Opera House in a few minutes.
    • Ferries: The Opera House is located right on the waterfront, so you can also arrive by ferry. There are several ferry services that stop at Circular Quay.
If you prefer to follow a tour, you are lucky, because in the Sydney Opera House, there are many tours. Prices can vary depending on the type of tour and the number of people in your group, but the most notables ones are:
    • Architectural Tour
      • 8:15am and 10am Saturdays
      • Family $124
    • Mobility Access Tour
      • Daily
      • Family $115
The family price includes 2 adults and 2 children (15 years and under).

If you are curious about the history of this building, you would like to know that it was designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon. He won an international competition in 1957 to design the building. Construction began in 1958 and was completed in 1973. The Sydney Opera House was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007. It was recognized as a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture and a symbol of Australia.

One of the member states of the Commonwealth of Nations is Australia. If you didn't know about Australia's size, here are some facts about it. Australia is the world's largest island and smallest continent. It's a place of incredible diversity, with a wide range of landscapes and wildlife.

One of the things that makes Australia unique is its bast size. The country is so big that it could fit all of the United States, Mexico, and Canada inside its borders. This means that there are many different types of climates and ecosystems in Australia, from tropical rainforests to deserts.

Another thing that makes Australia special is its wildlife. The country is home to some of the most unusual and dangerous animals in the world, including kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, and spiders. Many of these animals are found nowhere else on Earth.

Australia is also a beautiful country with stunning beaches, mountains, and forests. There are many different things to see and do in Australia, from swimming and surfing to hiking and camping.

If you are looking for a unique and exciting travel destination, Australia is a great choice.

Canada has a lot of popular sports enjoyed by both Canadians and visitors alike.

As the national winter sport, ice hockey is deeply representative in Canadian culture. The National Hockey League (NHL) is the world's premier hockey league, and several Canadian cities have NHL teams.

The canadian Football is similar to American football, Canadian football has its own unique rules and strategies. The Canadian Football League (CFL) is the top professional league for the sport.

Basketball is another popular sport in Canada, with the National Basketball Association (NBA) having several Canadian teams. The Canadian national men's and women's basketball teams are also highly competitive.

Major League Baseball (MLB) has one Canadian team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Baseball is particularly popular in Ontario.

Soccer, or football as it's known in most of the world, is gaining popularity in Canada. The Canadian Premier League (CPL) is the top professional soccer league in the country.

Other popular sports in Canada include lacrosse, curling, and figure skating. These sports often have strong regional followings.

ART GALLERY OF NEW SOUTH WALES

My next destination was the Art Gallery Of New South Wales. My favourite piece of art was the sculpture "An athlete wrestling with a python" by the artist Frederic, Lord Leighton.

One of the things that drawned my attention is the pose. The athlete and python easily show what
means the statue and the struggle. Also, it creates a sense of tension and excitement.

Definetly, the most marcable thing about this sculpture is the amount of details. At first, the muscular Details, Leighton's attention to detail is evident in the sculpted muscles of the athlete. Thanks to those details we can see a sense of physicality and strength on the atlete.
Also, the realistic python is very attractive. The python is detailed with remarkable accuracy, capturing it's serpentine form and it's scaly texture. The snake's open mouth and bared fangs add to the sense of danger.
Finally, I love the concept of this piece of art. The idea of an athlete forcing with a snake, is something that, personally, I would never think of. I looked up of who was the model and it was an Italian professional, Angelo Colorossi.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales is a must-visit for art enthusiasts in Sydney. With it's collection of Australian, European, and Asian art, it offers a rich and diverse cultural experience.

    • The Archibald Prize: A prestigious annual portrait competition showcasing contemporary Australian artists and their interpretations of prominent figures.
    • The Sydney Modern Project: A recent expansion featuring cutting-edge architecture and a focus on contemporary art.
    • Indigenous Australian Art: A significant collection that celebrates the rich artistic traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

If you want to spend the night at the zoo, there are two options: The "Wildlife Retreat at Taronga" and the "Roar and Snore"

    • The Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an elegant Australian eco-retreat where you can enjoy in the natural environment, and step into a beautiful sanctuary with koalas, echidnas and platypus.
    • The Roar and Snore is an unforgettable safari-style overnight experience that includes encounters with animals and interesting keeper talks. You can hear the secrets of the Zoo and enjoy the beautiful sunset and sunrise over spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.

The Wild Australia Experience is the perfect opportunity to see Taronga’s Australian Wildlife, go behind the scenes in Taronga’s Australian Nocturnal House and have the chance to meet the Koalas. This tour includes:
    • Small, personalised group fully escorted by a specialised Keeper
    • Photo opportunity with koalas in their enclosure on your phone or camera
    • All-day Zoo access

Personally, I think this is worth the visit, because is not very expensive and you can get an incredible experience. This place has a lot of animals to see and very entertaining activities. Definitely I would recommend it to my friends and relatives

    Hyde Park Sydney Thinking Routine

In the image, I can see a very large chessboard that is on the ground of a park. There are some people standing around the board, and others sit on a stairs. The standing persons are playing a game of chess, but on a large scale; while the others are watchig them playing. I think those persons play regularly to chess in this place, probably on weekends or during the evenings when there is a good weather. In the Hyde Park, you can do a lot of activities like in any other park.

The most common activities are go for walks or do excercise, have picnics, relax on benches or play sports like volleyball, frisbee or football. You can also go with your pets or friends to spend a great evening. I don't have any park like the Hyde Park near my house, but if I take the funicular, I can go to Artxanda, and there it is a very abig park. On weekends, I usually go to Amezola and nearby with my friends for a walk, but depending on the day, we go for a walk to the "Parque de los patos". I really like going to parks, there are a great place to spend time. There are a great place for relaxation, exercise, and social interaction. In the parks i do many sports. For example with friends, I play football, table tennis, frisbee and others; and with my mother, I enjoy to play sports with no much movement like badminton (without a net), table tennis or chess.

In conclusion, parks are a great place to spend your free time instead of use screens or to improve your lifestyle and your social relations; and the best and most obvious part: you can go there for free.

    Darling Harbour

In the darling harbour, you can visit the Darling Square, the Chinese Garden of Friendship, the Cockle Bay Wharf, the Harbourside Shopping Centre, The Star, the International Convention Centre Sydneynd the Darling Quarter. In all those places, you can do up to 29 different things. Definetely, the most exciting ones are:

    • The Sydney Jet: It is a high speed thrill ride around Sydney’s Harbour.
    • Luminous: An activity in the Darling Harbourin which you can create your own unique light show, with the world’s largest interactive light display.

But, the one I like te most is the Wild Life Sydney Zoo. It is one of the best things to do in Sydney for animal lovers and explorers. There, you can get up close to fierce crocodiles, sleepy koalas and much more.

    The Rocks

If you want to go to The Rocks, you 'll have to know some some things before going.
First, the days in which it is open: The main Rocks Markets are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. However, there's also The Rocks Foodie Market which is open on Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm.
Second, Which bus stop do you have to get off at to get to The Rocks: If you travel along Elizabeth Street, get off the bus at Bridge Street and head north to The Rocks. Bus stops are also located along Alfred Street.
If you want my recommendation for a shop to go, I'd definitely say "Emporium of Chocolate". This is, in my opinion, the best one because of many reasons:

  • Variety: As the name says "Emporium" suggests a wide selection. It's incredible the amount of chocolates they sell! From milk and dark chocolate to more unusual flavors.

  • Quality: A shop specializing in chocolate often means that they focus on quality ingredients and a good process of work.

  • It's chocolate! Really, it's chocolate, you must go and try some of their delicious chocolates! I'd go to the Emporium of Chocolate if I want to eat something tasty or even to do a gift for someone else.

  • Royal Botanic Gardens

Two weeks ago, I went to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney and it was an icredible place. There was a lot of beautiful plants. The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney are a great place to see and learn a lot about the flora and fauna of our world. There, you can see a lot of different species of plants, animals or insects.

If you want to support the Royal Botanic Gardens, there are many ways to do it. One of them is to dedicate a bench: Dedicating a bench in the Royal Botanic Garden range from $12,500 to $19,500 and allow you to choose a location with iconic views or unique garden locations.

Personally, I love the Gardens Magazine, if you want to read it, you can look for it in this Website. The Gardens Magazine is a seasonal magazine which provides you news and some information about the place. Also, if you become a member, every three months, every season, you will receive a copy of the Gardens Magazine.

My favourite plant in the Royal Botanic Gardens is the eucalypt, or gum trees, because it is one of Australia’s most iconic plants. Also, There are around 300 species in Australia that use eucalypts as homes. Finally, if I think about eucalypts, I'll think about Koalas which are one of my favourite animals.
