My journey in Sydney
This is going to be a blog about my experience in Sydney. I have been one time to Australia, when I was 8 years old, so I'm excited to revive those amazing moments. There are a lot of things I want to do and visit during this journey.
Enjoy this adventure!!!
Queen Victoria Building
If I had to recommend a shop from Queen Victoria Building, I'd definetly say Campers' store.
It's located on the lower ground level and offers a wide range of stylish and comfortable shoes for men, women, and children.
There you can find a lot of products like:

One of the member states of the Commonwealth of Nations is Australia. If you didn't know about Australia's size, here are some facts about it. Australia is the world's largest island and smallest continent. It's a place of incredible diversity, with a wide range of landscapes and wildlife.
One of the things that makes Australia unique is its bast size. The country is so big that it could fit all of the United States, Mexico, and Canada inside its borders. This means that there are many different types of climates and ecosystems in Australia, from tropical rainforests to deserts.
Another thing that makes Australia special is its wildlife. The country is home to some of the most unusual and dangerous animals in the world, including kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, and spiders. Many of these animals are found nowhere else on Earth.
Australia is also a beautiful country with stunning beaches, mountains, and forests. There are many different things to see and do in Australia, from swimming and surfing to hiking and camping.
If you are looking for a unique and exciting travel destination, Australia is a great choice.
Canada has a lot of popular sports enjoyed by both Canadians and visitors alike.
As the national winter sport, ice hockey is deeply representative in Canadian culture. The National Hockey League (NHL) is the world's premier hockey league, and several Canadian cities have NHL teams.
The canadian Football is similar to American football, Canadian football has its own unique rules and strategies. The Canadian Football League (CFL) is the top professional league for the sport.
Basketball is another popular sport in Canada, with the National Basketball Association (NBA) having several Canadian teams. The Canadian national men's and women's basketball teams are also highly competitive.
Major League Baseball (MLB) has one Canadian team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Baseball is particularly popular in Ontario.
Soccer, or football as it's known in most of the world, is gaining popularity in Canada. The Canadian Premier League (CPL) is the top professional soccer league in the country.
Other popular sports in Canada include lacrosse, curling, and figure skating. These sports often have strong regional followings.
My next destination was the Art Gallery Of New South Wales. My favourite piece of art was the sculpture "An athlete wrestling with a python" by the artist Frederic, Lord Leighton.
means the statue and the struggle. Also, it creates a sense of tension and excitement.
Definetly, the most marcable thing about this sculpture is the amount of details. At first, the muscular Details, Leighton's attention to detail is evident in the sculpted muscles of the athlete. Thanks to those details we can see a sense of physicality and strength on the atlete.
Also, the realistic python is very attractive. The python is detailed with remarkable accuracy, capturing it's serpentine form and it's scaly texture. The snake's open mouth and bared fangs add to the sense of danger.
Finally, I love the concept of this piece of art. The idea of an athlete forcing with a snake, is something that, personally, I would never think of. I looked up of who was the model and it was an Italian professional, Angelo Colorossi.

In the image, I can see a very large chessboard that is on the ground of a park. There are some people standing around the board, and others sit on a stairs. The standing persons are playing a game of chess, but on a large scale; while the others are watchig them playing. I think those persons play regularly to chess in this place, probably on weekends or during the evenings when there is a good weather. In the Hyde Park, you can do a lot of activities like in any other park.
The most common activities are go for walks or do excercise, have picnics, relax on benches or play sports like volleyball, frisbee or football. You can also go with your pets or friends to spend a great evening. I don't have any park like the Hyde Park near my house, but if I take the funicular, I can go to Artxanda, and there it is a very abig park. On weekends, I usually go to Amezola and nearby with my friends for a walk, but depending on the day, we go for a walk to the "Parque de los patos". I really like going to parks, there are a great place to spend time. There are a great place for relaxation, exercise, and social interaction. In the parks i do many sports. For example with friends, I play football, table tennis, frisbee and others; and with my mother, I enjoy to play sports with no much movement like badminton (without a net), table tennis or chess.
In conclusion, parks are a great place to spend your free time instead of use screens or to improve your lifestyle and your social relations; and the best and most obvious part: you can go there for free.
Darling Harbour
In the darling harbour, you can visit the Darling Square, the Chinese Garden of Friendship, the Cockle Bay Wharf, the Harbourside Shopping Centre, The Star, the International Convention Centre Sydneynd the Darling Quarter. In all those places, you can do up to 29 different things. Definetely, the most exciting ones are:
- The Sydney Jet: It is a high speed thrill ride around Sydney’s Harbour.
- Luminous: An activity in the Darling Harbourin which you can create your own unique light show, with the world’s largest interactive light display.
Second, Which bus stop do you have to get off at to get to The Rocks: If you travel along Elizabeth Street, get off the bus at Bridge Street and head north to The Rocks. Bus stops are also located along Alfred Street.
If you want to support the Royal Botanic Gardens, there are many ways to do it. One of them is to dedicate a bench: Dedicating a bench in the Royal Botanic Garden range from $12,500 to $19,500 and allow you to choose a location with iconic views or unique garden locations.
My favourite plant in the Royal Botanic Gardens is the eucalypt, or gum trees, because it is one of Australia’s most iconic plants. Also, There are around 300 species in Australia that use eucalypts as homes. Finally, if I think about eucalypts, I'll think about Koalas which are one of my favourite animals.
